Signs of Spring are popping up all over and now that it’s March, I’m itching for a bit more of warmth and sunshine. I can’t really complain because we have moderately great weather throughout fall and winter other than the strong winds we get on occasion but it feels so refreshing to finally dress for Spring. I’m excited to wear a whole lot more dresses and skirts than I did back in San Francisco and adding more of these pieces to my wardrobe.
This weekend Brendan and I wanted to take advantage of the warmer weather by walking to the park by our neighborhood with the girls to get some fresh air. They were both in heaven – Sadie chased birds and Charlee played fetch till we left it. This month is about to get a little crazy as we close in on my sister’s wedding. We’re nearly a month away and we have her bridal shower and bachelorette party in just a couple weeks. So it was nice to have a relaxing weekend together with not much planned before it get a little hectic.
My current mood for Spring has me wanting to wear lots of crisp white and fresh pinks and blues. A new season means pretty things to add to refresh your wardrobe and I’ve been really drawn to classic pieces lately. I’m looking for items I can piece together without much thought and feel confident walking out the door. I’ve already picked up a few pieces like these espadrille flats from Sam Edelman– so cute and these light distressed denim.
Nothing says Spring quite like a blush off the shoulder ruffle top. Our weather has been unusually beautiful which has me wearing all my lightest layers and springs dresses. I have been trying to find any excuse to wear this top it seriously works for every occasion casual or dressy – coffee meetings, brunch with my girlfriends and dates with Brendan. I’m so obsessed I also bought it in black and I also love the they ice blue version. If you’re looking for the perfect blush ruffle top for spring under $30, I found a few options that are similar to my sold out Harlow and Graham one here, here, here and here. I also can’t help but mention these other pretty pink Nordstrom off the should tops here, here and here.
