This weekend we got so lucky with some of the most beautiful weather, temperatures reached the mid 80s here in Las Vegas and there was not a cloud in the sky. Fortunately, the sun has decided to continue to shine while the East Coast gets blasted with a blizzard and I’m so thankful. It’s only the beginning of the season, and our calendar is already filled up with activities and events and friends and family coming to visit. I couldn’t be more excited – for my sister’s bridal shower and bachelorette this month but I’m honestly getting a little overwhelmed with everything I have going on over the next four weeks.
With only a few days left until Spring, I couldn’t wait to wear this floral ruffled top the moment I got it. For under $30, it rivals some of the more expensive ones I see on the sites of my favorites stores. The mix of the floral print against the simple breathable fabric make it the perfect piece for Spring. I love a shirt with a ruffle detail, something about a ruffle has a ladylike feeling to me that I’ve been missing these days. I paired this top with my Paige raw edge denim that was last seen here.
I’ve been living in a variation of this combo lately – skinny jeans with a ruffle top, you can see my last ruffle look here. I can’t say enough amazing things about these Paige jeans. I was on a mission to find a great skinny jean with the raw edge hem and tried on at least 10 other pairs at Nordstrom to find the perfect pair. When I put these on, I knew they were the one plus the high waist is seriously everything. This outfit will definitely be my choice for events and gatherings over the next couple of months.
Most day you’ll find me in pumps or heels to add an extra pep in my step. I bought These Jeffery Campbell wedges last Spring and I’m so glad they are coming back this season in high demand. They are the most flattering and comfortable pair I own, I highly recommend them if you’re eyeing them. I know they’re a little expensive but they are so worth every penny, they are my go-to for just about everything this season.
