Well, hello! It is so wonderful to be here joining YOU on The Forever and Always. I am the younger sister of Lo, and the middle sister in our sister trio. My name is Hannah. I am 21 years old and just got back from a three month adventure where I lived on the go in Europe, but spent ten weeks residing in Malta. I started traveling when I was 18 years old and haven’t stopped since. My very first trip was to Israel where I spent 12 days going through the life of Jesus.
There is no other word to describe Ho Chi Minh City other than incredible. We spent three extraordinary days eating our way through the city — mainly Pho or some type of (rice, flat, skinny, or ramen) noodle — exploring the markets, and roaming the streets like locals. We experienced so many adventurous excursions while consuming lots of vietnamese coffee and tea which seemed to be our thing from the moment we arrived.
During Thanksgiving week, Brendan and I decided to take our first trip out of the country together as we headed to the beautiful country of Vietnam. We caught the travel bug this past year and we couldn’t wait to explore a city that was different then our own day to day culture.
Brendan and I say we love to travel. We constantly talk about going to all these different places around the world and doing all these adventurous things before we one day settle down.
Truth is were not much of doers when it comes to traveling. We like to talk a big game & say all these things but never actually have put them into action. Life always seems to get in the way, whether its work, school, or whatever –there always seems to be an excuse & you know what they say about excuses. (There like butt holes and they all stink!)
But we finally did it, we pushed life aside & bought our flights to Vietnam! WOOOHOOO! We are so beyond excited to go and visit a new country and experience a different culture together just the two of us. We have never taken a huge international trip like this together alone, from what I’ve read it could be a serious make it or break it moment.
Like I mentioned in this post here I’m really trying hard to focus on reflection. There were definitely some questionable moments to look back & learn from but also so many little successes that I was able to celebrate throughout the month of July.
We will start with my biggest WTH moment because I like to end things on a positive note & what I’m about to spill just pisses me right off!
